Hozi was born from a single, thoughtful question:

Why do we put so much care into what we wear—our shoes, our clothing, our accessories—yet settle for ordinary when it comes to what our dogs wear?

On walks through the park, I’d often notice a contrast. Runners in sleek ensembles—Nike, Adidas, Lululemon—accompanied by dogs in worn, generic collars and leashes. The disconnect was striking.

Collars and leashes may be functional, but they’re also a reflection of the person holding the other end. I founded Hozi with the belief that dog accessories should embody the same sense of intention, design, and craftsmanship we expect from the things we choose for ourselves.

Every piece we create is guided by simplicity, subtlety, and character—designed for those who value quality, quiet uniqueness, and the power of good design.

The name “Hozi” is my way of rewriting the language of modern dog fashion—with clarity, elegance, and a new point of view.
