Designed to Become Your Own
The Artisan Harness is intentionally made from materials that respond to use. The suede may become softer in certain areas, its nap may shift, and the leather may gradually develop greater depth and character.
These subtle changes are part of what makes natural materials special. Rather than expecting every harness to remain perfectly identical, Artisan is designed to become increasingly individual to the dog who wears it.

Care
For best results, place the harness in a laundry bag and wash separately at 30°C with a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry.
Natural suede is sensitive to moisture. Contact with water may cause changes in color, texture, or some color transfer, particularly when wet. We recommend avoiding rain, swimming, and other water activities while wearing the harness.
If wet, gently remove excess moisture without rubbing and allow the harness to dry completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Natural Material Characteristics
Color & Texture
Natural suede can vary slightly from piece to piece. Changes in the direction of the nap, shading, or surface texture are part of the material rather than manufacturing imperfections.
Signs of Wear
Areas exposed to regular movement or pressure may gradually show polishing, softening, or subtle friction marks. This natural evolution is expected and contributes to the individual finish of each harness.
Small-Batch Artisan Production
Artisan is one of HOZI’s most craftsmanship-intensive pieces. The combination of natural materials, layered construction, detailed finishing, and precise assembly requires considerably more production time than our standard harnesses.
For this reason, Artisan is produced in limited quantities rather than at mass-production scale. When an available batch sells out, the next release may require additional time while new pieces are carefully produced and finished.
